My most notable accomplishment to date might be something that was outside my control. On October 3, 2018 I was laid off from my position as an analytical chemist. As a result, I decided to pursue teaching full-time, and was lucky to hit the ground running with the support of my friends, family and students.
Here are some accomplishments that helped pave the way for my jump, which in turn paved the way for my future endeavors.

* I originally tested for my 2nd and 3rd Dan black belts in the mid-late 90s, but my first school was not certified by the Kukkiwon, the World TaeKwon Do Federation's governing body. I retested for both these ranks and became officially certified by the Kukkiwon in 2006 and 2009 for 2nd and 3rd Dan, respectively.
I like to think my retesting of 2nd + 3rd Dan yields an unofficial 5th Dan, LOL ;)
